Hrithik Roshan is an Indian actor known for his awesome dance routines, who was born on January 10, 1974, in Mumbai. Hrithik is from a filmi family. His maternal grandfather, J.Om Prakash, a famous producer/director, put Hrithik in ‘Aasha’ (1980) at the age of six. He also had a speaking part in the movie ‘Bhagwan Dada’ (1986). Hrithik was born with an extra thumb on his right hand and stammered as a child. As a young adult, he was diagnosed with scoliosis and worked to overcome this disability. After college, Hrithik spent six years assisting his father, director Rakesh Roshan. In 2000, Hrithik made his adult debut in ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’.  The film, directed by his father, won the Filmfare Best Movie Award, and Hrithik won both the Best Actor and Best Male Debut Award, making Hrithik a star. He is best known for the Krrish series as India’s first superhero: ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ in 2003, ‘Krrish’ in 2006, and ‘Krrish 3’ in 2013; and his performance as the villian in ‘Dhoom 2’. Other memorable movies are: Mughal emperor ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ (2008), a quadriplegic in ‘Guzaarish’ (2010), a workacholic in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011), and a gangster seeking revenge for his father’s murder in ‘Agneepath’ (2012). In 2016, Hrithik had a really bad flop in ‘Mohenjo Daro’ but recovered nicely with the success of ‘Kaabil’ in 2017. Hrithik had two big hits in 2019, in ‘Super 30’ he was mathematical genius Anand Kumar teaching kids from the slums, but his biggest release till date was ‘War’, an action thriller co-starring Tiger Shroff. Movies lined up in the future include ‘War 2’, ‘Fighter’, ‘Vikram Vedha’, and ‘Krrish 4’.
