Naandhi 
is a real-life situation that does do get much attention in cinema. Surya is a young software engineer who is looking forward to repaying his parents for their sacrifices and marrying his beautiful girlfriend. His life is interrupted when he is accused of murder and kept in prison until his trial can begin. He is kept languishing in jail for year: losing his job, his parents, his girl, and being tortured by the police. Debutant director Vijay Kanakamedala keeps us glued to our seat in this Courtroom drama.

Pushpa – The Rise is a much-anticipated Allu Arjan as a rustic character in this action saga. Pushpa Raj needs a job to help support is mother, so he is drawn into the world of red sandalwood smuggling. He quickly rises to the top because of his quick thinking and ability to outwit the cops. Allu is entertaining to watch and Pushpa – Part 2 is in the works co-starring Fahadh Faasil. The movie was written and directed by Sukumar.

a charming film about a village auto driver who finds a very expensive camera has been left behind. He does not know who it belongs to and eventually decides to make a movie with it. He enlists the help of a local wedding photographer as a cameraman and villagers will play the parts. Debutant writer and director Praveen Kandregula gives us a light-hearted and humorous story on what goes into making a movie. Netflix

Nana plays a double role as a present-day movie director and as an influential revolutionary writer who falls in love with a devadasi, a temple dancer.  Sai Pallavi is the dancer who is not free to leave the temple and is being abused by the head priest.  Directed by Rahul Sankrityan has made a beautiful romantic film.
