Haseen Dillruba
Haseen Dillruba was a quirky pulp fiction-style murder mystery. Great acting by Vikrant Massey as a naïve everyman who marries a beautiful but high maintenance Taapsee Pannu. When well-built and self-assured Harshvardhan Rane comes to visit, trouble starts to brew. Written and directed by Vinil Mathew, this movie is primarily a relationship/character story with lots of twists and turns.

Sardar Udham
Sardar Udham is a period Hindi film that pays tribute to a real-life Indian revolutionary who assassinated a former colonial in the British army in 1940. The film follows Vicky Kaushal for twenty years on his quest for justice. The heart-breaking climax flashes back to the tragedy, as director Shoojit Sircar recreates the massacre in Jallianwala Bagh, where hundreds of peaceful demonstrators in Amritsar, Punjab were gunned down by British soldiers in 1919.

Shershaah
Sheeshaah is a patriotic film celebrating the life of Indian Army officer Vikram Batra who died in the 1999 Kargil War. The story follows the arc of Vikram’s life from childhood, through college, his love story, the army, and his final sacrifice. Directed by Vishnu Varadhan Siddharth Malhotra brings Vikram to life as a loveable young man, fiercely loyal, and courageous in battle. And because of this, it is hard not to get emotional at the climax of the movie.
