Happy Birthday to Prachi Desai, Indian television and film actress, and brand ambassador, born September 12, 1988, in Surat, India.  Prachi began her career with an Ekta Kapoor television serial ‘Kasamh Se’ in 2006. In 2007, Prachi became a contestant on dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, she went on to win the competition. She made her Bollywood debut in 2008, playing Farhan Akhtar’s wife in the movie ‘Rock On!!’. Prachi also appeared in ‘Life Partner’ (2009), ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’ (2011) winning a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012), and ‘I, Me Aur Main’ (2013). In 2014, Prachi appeared in an item number for ‘Ek Villain’.  In 2016, Prachi revived her role as Farhan Akhtar’s wife in ‘Rock On!! 2’, and she was the first wife of former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin in “Azhar”. In 2017, Prachi starred in a short film, ‘Carbon’, set in 2067 Dehli where oxygen is in scarce supply. She was last seen in ‘Silence…Can You Hear It?’ (2021), a thriller released on Zee5.  Prachi has been a brand ambassador for Goa Tourism and for Neutrogena.
