Kriti Sanon, is an Indian model and actress, born on July 27, 1990, in New Delhi, India. After beginning her career in modeling, Kriti made her film debut in 2014 with Mahesh Babu in “Nenokkadine”, a Telugu thriller. She also made her Bollywood debut the same year with “Heropanti”, co-starring Tiger Schroff. Kriti won both the Filmfare and the IIFA award for Best Female Debut for this film. In 2015, Kriti made a second Telugu film, “Dohchay”, and another Bollywood film “Dilwale”, starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Varun Dhawan. The film was a commercial success. Kriti played a woman haunted by nightmares of reincarnation in the unsuccessful “Raabta”, co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput.  In 2017, Kriti was seen in a romantic comedy ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana.  The film was a surprise success due in part to Kriti’s spunky character, Bitti. Her next successful film was ‘Luka Chuppi’ (2019), co-starring Kartik Aaryan, a romantic comedy. She released three other films in 2019:  ‘Arjun Patiala’, a romantic comedy with Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Housefull 4’, in a  double role, and ‘Panipat’, a historical drama.  Kriti is also known for her dancing skills and has done item numbers in ‘Stree’, ‘Kalank’, and ‘Angrezi Medium’. Kriti’s latest release was ‘Mimi’ (2021), playing a surrogate mother. Future projects include ‘Adipurush’, a big film based on the Ramayana starring Prabhas.
