Happy Birthday to Remo D’Souza, dancer, award-winning choreographer, actor, and director, born on April 2, 1974, in Bengaluru, India. Over the course of his career, Remo has choreographed nearly 100 movies.  Remo made his directorial debut with the moderately successful ‘F.A.L.T.U.’ in 2011.  In 2013, Remo directed ‘ABCD – Any Body Can Dance’, India’s first 3D dance movie; and received the Screen Award and Renault Star Guild Award for Best Choreographer for “Badtameez Dil” from the movie ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. Remo’s next was ‘ABCD – Any Body Can Dance 2’ starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, released in 2015. In 2016, he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Choreography for ‘Deewani Mastani’ in the movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’.  Remo’s ‘Race 3’ with Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, was not liked by critics, but it grossed 280 crores at the box office. He choreographed ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’ in ‘Kalank’ and won the Filmfare Award for Best Choreography in 2019. Remo directed Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva in ‘Street Dancer 3D’ in 2020. Remo also serves as a judge on dance reality shows such as DID Little Master on Zee TV and Dance Plus 6 on Star Plus.
