Katrina Kaif is a Bollywood actress of English descent, born on July 16, 1983, in British Hong Kong. Katrina, one of eight siblings, began modeling as a teenager. In 2003, she was cast in the movie ‘Boom’ which was a commercial failure. In 2004, Katrina had a role in a successful Telugu film ‘Malliswari’. Even though she struggled with speaking Hindi, she was soon making movies on a regular basis. In 2007, Katrina appeared in four commercially successful films: ‘Namaste London’, ‘Apne’, ‘Partner’, and ‘Welcome’. In 2009, she starred in ‘New York’, playing the role of a terrorist’s wife, and was nominated for a Filmfare Best Actress Award. Some of her notable performances since have been: ‘Raajneeti’ (2010), ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011), and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Dhoom 3’ (2013), and ‘Bang Bang!’ (2016), all were very successful blockbusters. Katrina is an eye-catching dancer, several memorable item numbers to her credit are: ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ (Tees Maar Khan), ‘Chikni Chameli’ (Agneepath), ‘Ishq Shava’ (Jab Tak Hai Jaan), and ‘Kala Chasma’ (‘Baar Baar Dekho’). After a few unsuccessful films, Katrina had success with Salman Khan in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). In 2018, Katrina appeared in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and ‘Zero’, both disappointments. In ‘Zero” Katrina received praise and a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress for playing an alcoholic actress. She struck gold again with Salman in ‘Bharat’ (2019). She was seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ with Akshay Kumar in 2021. She will be seen in the upcoming ‘’Phone Bhoot’, a comedy horror costarring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. Katrina also works with a charity run by her mother that rescues girl children. Katrina married actor Vicky Kaushal in December 2021.

Bollyprime
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved a good story. As an American, most of the movies I have watched were made in Hollywood. As I got older I lost interest in Hollywood movies and started watching Bollywood movies. Now I enjoy Tollywood, Kollywood, and Mollywood films as well.
