Shraddha Kapoor, a Bollywood actress, born on March 3, 1992, in Mumbai. Shraddha’s father Shakti, mother Shivangi, and brother Siddhanth are actors. She made her debut in the 2010 film ‘Teen Patti’, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Shraddha was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Debut for this film. Her next film was ‘Luv Ka the End’ (2011) and, in 2013, Shraddha had a breakthrough role playing Aarohi in the romantic musical ‘Aashiqui 2’, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur. ‘Aashiqui 2’ was a blockbuster. Next Shraddha appeared in a string of successful films: ‘The Villain’ with Sidharth Malhotra, Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’ (2014) with Shahid Kapoor, the dance movie ‘ABCD 2’ with Varun Dhawan, and ‘Baaghi’ (2016) with Tiger Shroff. Her next films: Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On 2’, ‘Ok Jaanu’, Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, and ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’, a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, were not successful. In 2018, Shraddha played a mysterious girl in the runaway hit comedy horror film ‘Stree’. In 2019, Shraddha become Prabhas’ co-star in ‘Saaho’, and with Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Chhichhore’, and won  the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards India for Favorite Movie Actress. Shraddha co-starred with Tiger Shroff again in ‘Baagi 3’, the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2020, and in ‘Street Dancer 3D’. She was last seen in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ (2023), a romantic comedy co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. In 2024, she starred in ‘Stree 2’, which was a blockbuster and her second-highest grossing film after ‘Saaho’. Shraddha is also known for her beautiful singing voice, as seen in the ‘Ek Villain’ song “Gaalliyan’ and the touching anthem ‘Hum Hindustani’.
