Happy Birthday to Sid Sriram, a playback singer working in the Tamil and Telugu industry, a Carnatic musician, a music producer, and an R & B songwriter. Sid was born on May 19, 1990, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, but moved to California in the United States by the time he was one. His mother was a highly regarded Carnatic music teacher there, and Sid started singing when he was three. Sid graduated from Berklee College of Music majoring in music production and engineering. Sid began to visit India regularly and now lives in Chennai. He became well-known when he sang ‘Adiye’ on the soundtrack of ‘Kadal’ in 2013. The song was composed by A. R. Rahman, who is his idol. Sid made his debut as a playback singer in the film ‘Ennodu Nee Irunthaal’ (2015). His YouTube songs have millions of views. Some of his top songs are: ‘Samajavaragamana’ from ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, ‘Kalaavathi’ from ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, ‘Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale’ from ‘Geetha Govindam’, ‘Maate Vinadhuga’ from ‘Taxiwaala’, ‘Kadalalle’ from ‘Dear Comrade’, ‘Ninnu Chuse Anandamlo’ from ‘Gang Leader’, and ‘Macho’ from ‘Mersal’.
