Sidharth Malhotra, a young Indian actor, was born on January 16, 1984, in Delhi, into an extended Punjabi family. Sidharth began modeling in commercials while still in college, appearing on the cover of several magazines, such as Redbook and Men’s Health. He was assistant director to Karan Johar for ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010). Johar then picked him for his debut in the box office hit ‘Student of the Year’ (2012). Sidharth, who has performed on several awards shows, also continues his commercial and modeling work. Sidharth has done eleven movies since 2012, including: ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014), paired with Parineeti Chopra; ‘The Villain’ (2014), paired with Shraddha Kapoor, ‘Brothers’ (2015) with Akshay Kumar, an angry son in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016) with Alia Bhatt, a math professor in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ (2016) with Katrina Kaif, an undercover agent turned homeowner in ‘A Gentleman’ (2017), a murder suspect in ‘Ittefaq’ (2017), a rogue army officer in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaary’ (2018), co-starring Manoj Bajpayee, and ‘Jabariya Jodi’, a romantic comedy about a groom kidnapper, and ‘Marjaavaan’ (2019), as a local thug who falls for a mute girl. Sidharth’s 2021 release on Amazon Prime was ‘Shershaah’, a true story of army captain Vikram Batra who was honored for his bravery in the 1999 Kargil War. He plays a double role in the film (Vikram was a twin), and Kiara Advani plays his fiancee. He received critical acclaim, and the film is his biggest success. In 1922, he appeared in ‘Thank God’ with Ajay Devgan, and in 2023 in ‘Mission Majnu’ as a deep-cover RAW operative. Sidharth is also the lead in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe web series, ‘Indian Police Force’. In February of this year, he married actress Kiara Advani.
