Varun Tej Konidela, a young Indian actor, was born on January 19, 1990, in Hyderabad, India. Varun is part of the Allu-Konidela family and he is the son of actor-producer Nagendra Babu. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are his uncles, and Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Sai Tej are cousins. As a child, he appeared in one of his father’s films, ‘Hands Up’ (2000). As an adult, Varun made his debut in ‘Mukunda’, co-starring with Pooja Hegde, in 2014. In 2015, he starred in ‘Kanche’, a war film, and ‘Loafer’, which failed at the box office. ‘Mister’ in 2017 was also a failure, but ‘Fidaa’ (2017), playing an NRI who falls for Sai Pallavi was a success. In 2018, ’Tholi Prema’, a romantic comedy became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the year. That same year, Varun was a passionate scientist in outer space in ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH”. He co-starred in comedies ‘F2: Fun and Frustration’(2019), and ‘F3: Fun and Frustration’ (2022) with Venkatesh, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada. The plot revolved around husbands with domineering wives and both movies were very successful. In 2022, Varun was also seen as a boxer in ‘Ghani’, a sports and revenge drama.
