Fahadh Faasil is a talented Indian actor and film producer, born on August 8, 1982, in Kochi, Kerala, India. Fahadh works mostly in the Malayalam film industry but has also appeared in Tamil films. His father is Aleksa Muhammed Fazil, a popular Malayalam actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. Fahadh made his debut at nineteen as the lead in his father’s unsuccessful 2002 romantic film ‘Kaiyethum Doorath’. After several other films, Fahadh gained attention for ‘Chaappa Kurishu’ (2011), a thriller. Other award-winning performances are in ‘Diamond Necklace’, ’22 Female Kottayam’, ‘Artist’ (2013), ‘Bangalore Days’, ‘God’s Own Country’, ‘Money Ratnam’ (2015), ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ (2017), ‘Varatjam’ and ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ (2018), and ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ (2019). Fahadh also starred in the critically acclaimed Tamil film ‘Super Deluxe’(2019). In 2020, Fahadh was seen as a salesman turned evangelist in ‘Trance’, and a cyber security specialist in ‘C U Soon’, which was shot on an iPhone and released on Amazon Prime. In 2021, he starred in a mystery thriller for Netflix ‘Irul’, in a Malayalam re-working of ‘Macbeth’, and in an acclaimed political thriller ‘Malik’, as the godfather of a coastal town. Fahadh will make his Telugu debut in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ (2021) as Allu Arjun’s antagonist. In 2022, Fahadh appeared in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ (Tamil), and as a hater of lower caste neighbors in ‘Malayankunju’. In 2023, Fahadh appeared in ‘Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum’, ‘Dhoomam’, and ‘Maamannan’. Since 2014, Fahadh has been producing films under the banner of Fahadh Faasil and Friends Pvt. Ltd. Fahadh has been married to Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim since 2014.
