Parineeti Chopra is an Indian actress and singer. born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala, Haryana, India. Parineeti has a degree in business, finance, and economics. She began her career working for Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant before she was signed with them as an actress. Parineeti’s acting debut was in the 2011 romantic comedy ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her next three movies were successful, ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012), about two warring political families, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), about a live-in romance, and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014), about a young woman struggling with depression. She took a three-year break from films and returned to the screen in the comedy ‘Golmaal Again (2017), and the period drama ‘Kesari’ (2019).  In 2021, Parineeti won acclaim for her role in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, co-starring Arjun Kapoor, and ‘Saina’, the biographical sports film based on badminton player Saina Nehwal. In 2022, she was seen as a RAW agent in ‘Code Name: Tirange’, a spy drama, and ‘Uunchai’ an adventure film about making a trek to Everest Base Camp. Parinetti was last seen in ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ (2023) based on the true story of a 1989 collapse of a coalmine.  Parinetti married politician Raghav Chadha in September 2023.
