Riteish Deshmukh, an Indian architect, film actor, and producer, was born in Latur, India on December 17, 1978. Riteish’s father, the late Vilasrao Deshmukh, was a former Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Riteish earned an architectural degree in college and owns part of Evolutions, an Indian-based architectural and interior designing firm. Riteish debuted in 2003 in ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, a romance co-starring Genelia D’Souza. Some of his better-known roles are: ‘Masti’ (2004), ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ (2005), ‘Heyy Babyy (2007), ‘Aladin’ (2009), ‘Housefull’ (2010),’ Housefull 2’, (2012) and ‘Housefull 3’ (2016), ‘Grand Masti’ (2013). ‘Ek Villain’ (2014), ‘Bank Chor’ (2017), ‘Total Dhamaal’ (2019), and ‘Baaghi 3’ (2020). Riteish was last seen in ‘Plan A Plan B’ a romantic comedy with Tamannaah Bhatia, and ‘Mister Mummy’, a comedy-drama with his wife Genelia in 2023. In 2013, he started his production firm named Mumbai Film Company. The first film he produced was a Marathi movie ‘Balak Palak’, which became a hit and won several awards. He is a popular co-host of many television shows. Riteish married Genelia D’Souza in 2012, and they have two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.
