Sai Pallavi, an Indian actress, and dancer, born on May 9, 1992, in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, India. Sai has been educated as a doctor, earning an MBBS in 2016 from Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia. When she was young, she was popular as a dancer and she participated in several television dance reality shows. As a child, Sai also appeared in ‘Kasthooriman’ a 2003 Malayalam film, and ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ a 2008 Tamil film. Sai has appeared in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films. She was offered the role of Malar in Alphonse Patharen’s popular film ‘Premam’ in 2014. Sai won several ‘Best Female Debut’ awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for this Malayalam film. In her second film ‘Kali’ (2016), she played a young wife whose husband had an anger problem. In 2017, Sai made her Telugu debut in ‘Fidaa’, a romantic comedy co-starring Varun Tej and ‘Middle-Class Abbayi’ as Nani’s love interest. In 2018, Sai made ‘Diya’ (Tamil) and ‘Kanam’ (Telugu) a horror story, ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ (Telugu) a romance appearing as a medical student, and ‘Maari 2’ (Tamil), an auto-rickshaw driver who is in love with Dhanush. In 2019, Sia appeared in ‘Athiran’ (Malayalam) a psychological thriller playing a patient at a mental asylum, co-starring Fahadh Faasil. She also appeared in NGK (Tamil) as the possessive wife of a Suriya who is entering politics. Sai was last seen in ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ (2020), an anthology exploring honor killings.
