Yash Chopra was born on September 27, 1932, in Lahore, Punjab, British India, and he died on October 21, 2012 in Mumbai of Dengue fever. Yash Chopra was a Bollywood director, script writer and producer. In 1973, he founded Yash Raj Films, one of India’s top production houses, now after the direction of his eldest son, Aditya. Chopra was known for his collaborations with a group of stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Sridevi, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherji. He developed his own style which consisted of romantic, emotional movies, depicting the lives of the rich. heroines in white sarees, and memorable songs shot in foreign locations.
