Mahie Gill (Rimpy Kaur Gill), an Indian actress working in Bollywood and Punjabi films, was born on December 19, 1975, in Chandigarh, Punjab. After receiving a Master’s in Theater from Punjab University, Mahie began her career with a small part in a 2003 Bollywood film ‘Hawayein’. Her big break came in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dev D’ (2009). In 2010. She won several awards for portraying Paro in Kashyap’s modern take on ‘Devdas’. In 2011, Mahie won praise as the frustrated wife of a Raja in a small town in Northern India in ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster’. She has also appeared in several web series, such as: ‘Apharan-Sabka Katega’ (2018), ’Posham Pa’ and ‘Fixerr’ (2019). In 2021, she played Abhay Deol’s wife in the war drama ‘1962: The War in the Hills’, and ‘Your Honor’, a story about a corrupt judge.
