Sohail Khan, an Indian film actor, producer, director, and writer, was born on December 20, 1970, in Mumbai. Sohail is the younger brother of Salman and Arbaaz Khan, and the son of screenwriter Salim Khan. He began his career as the director of ‘Auzaar’ (1997), followed by ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ (1998), and ‘Hello Brother’ (1999). Sohail had his first hit film in 2005 with the movie ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?’, acting alongside his brother Salman. In 2006, Sohail portrayed ‘Aryan’, which centered on a boxer who had to choose between his career and his family. In 2007, he produced ‘Partner’ which starred Salman Khan and Govinda. He has also appeared in ‘Hello’ and ‘Heroes’ (2008), ‘Kisaan’ and ‘Do Not Disturb’ (2009), and ‘Veer’ (2010). In 2014, Sohail produced and directed Salman in ‘Jai Ho’. In 2016, Sohail directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a sports romantic comedy, ‘Freaky Ali’. In 2017, Sohail appeared in the unsuccessful ‘Tubelight’ with his brother Salman. He also produces live stage shows featuring Indian stars and has appeared as a judge on several television shows. In 2020, Sohail appeared as himself in ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ on Indian television.
