Malaika Arora Khan is an Indian actress, model, television presenter, and number one item girl of Bollywood, born October 23, 1973, in Chembur, Maharashtra. Malaika started her career as a video jockey and interviewer on MTV India. She then went on to model in advertisements and music videos. Malaika’s first “item” number was “Chaiya Chaiya” in the movie “Dil Se” (1998) opposite Shah Rukh Khan. One of the top songs of all time, “Chaiya Chaiya” was performed on the top of a moving train. Malaika is also known for “Munni Badnaam Hui” from the movie “Dabangg” (2010), with her former brother-in-law Salman Khan. Malaika continues to do cameo appearances and item numbers in movies, such as ‘Pataakha’ (2018) and ‘An Action Hero’ (2022). She has been a judge on several dance reality shows and a featured performer in SRK’s “SLAM!” world tour. She divorced Arbaaz Khan in 2017, and the couple have a son, Arhaan.
