Pooja Hegde, an Indian model and actress, was born on October 13, 1990, in Mumbai, India. She was a second-place winner in the 2010 Miss Universe India competition. Pooja made her debut acting in Mysskin’s superhero film ‘Mugamoodi’ (2012/Tamil). Her second release was ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ (2014/Telugu) with Naga Chaitanya, and her third was ‘Mukunda’ (2014/Telugu). Pooja made her Bollywood debut in Ashutosh Gowariker’s unsuccessful ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016), opposite Hrithik Roshan.
In 2017, Pooja worked with Allu Arjun in the vigilante film ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, with N.T. Rama Rao Jr. in ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ (2018), and with Mahesh Babu in ‘Maharshi’ (2019). She also returned to Bollywood for a double role in ‘Housefull 4’ (2019). In 2020, Pooja did ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, playing Allu Arjun’s boss. It became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films ever. In 2021, Pooja was a stand-up comic in ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’, a romantic comedy co-starring Akhil Akkineni. In 2022, Pooja was Prabhas’ love interest in ‘Radhe Shyam’, and Vijay in ‘Beast’. Her next was  ‘Acharya’ (2022/Telugu) with Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi, and she was last seen with Salman Khan in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ (2023/Hindi). Pooja has her own foundation called ‘All About Love’, which helps support unprivileged kids with education and health.
