Happy Birthday to Aditi Rao Hydari, Indian actress, born on October 28, 1978, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Aditi has royalty on both side of her family. On her father’s side, Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari was the first Indian Governor of Assam, and on her mother’s side, she is related to the Raja of Wanaparthy. Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan’s wife, is Aditi’s first cousin. Aditi made her debut in ‘Sringaram’, a 2007 Tamil film. In the film, she played a devadasi (a temple dancer). Aditi was a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, and her dancing was praised in the role. Her second film, a Malayalam film ‘Prajapathi’, was released first. Aditi starred alongside top Malayalam star Mammootty. Her third movie was a Hindi film, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Delhi 6’ (2009). The turning point in her career was in the romantic thriller ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi (2009)’, showing her passion for co-star Arunoday Singh. She also received praise for her role in ‘Murder 3’ (2013). Other Bollywood movies Aditi has appeared in are: ‘Rockstar’ (2011), ‘London, Paris, New York’ (2012), ‘Boss’ (2013), ‘Guddi Rangeela’ (2015), ‘Wazir’ (2016), and ‘Bhoomi’ (2017), Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film. Aditi was Ranveer Singh’s long-suffering wife Mehranisa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ (2017). In 2018, she has done a Telugu love story ‘Sammohanam’, and a Tamil crime drama, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
