Farah Khan, an award-winning Indian choreographer, and director, was born on January 9, 1965, in Mumbai. Inspired by Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, Farah formed her own dance group and had her first break in the 1992 hit film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’. Since then, she has worked in over 80 plus Bollywood films choreographing many memorable numbers and winning the Filmfare Best Choreography Award six times. Farah met Shah Rukh Khan in 1993, choreographed for him, and in 2004, she directed him in the hit ‘Main Hoon Na’. When they collaborated again in 2007, they produced ‘Om Shanti Om’, at the time it was the highest-grossing Hindi film ever. Farah directed SRK again in 2015 with ‘Happy New Year’, a super hit.
