Randeep Hooda is a talented Indian actor, born on August 20, 1976, in Rohtak, Haryana, India. Randeep made his film debut in the hit ‘Monsoon Wedding’ (2001), portraying an NRI living in Australia. Randeep went to college in Melbourne, Australia, receiving his BA in marketing and Masters in Business and Human Resource Management. After Monsoon, he did tv commercials and worked in theater. In 2005, he received positive reviews in Ram Gopal Vama’s ‘D’. In 2010, Randeep’s career had a breakthrough when he appeared in the successful ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’. Some of Randeep’s other successful roles are: ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster’ (2011), ‘Jannat 2’ (2012), ‘Jism 2’ (2012), ‘Highway’ (2014), ‘Kick’ (2014), and ‘Sarbjit’ (2016). Randeep appeared as Salman Khan’s trainer in the blockbuster ‘Sultan’ in 2016, and as ACP Loha Singh Dhull in ‘Baaghi 2’ in 2018. He was last seen in ‘Extraction’ (2020), his first English film starring Chris Hemsworth, and in ‘Radha’ with Salman Khan (2021). His next will be ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’, a misunderstood freedom fighter jailed in 1910. He also enjoys working in theatre and is a member of Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre troupe. Randeep has been active in social causes relating to hunger, poverty, and suicide in India. As an equestrian, he regularly participates in polo and show jumping.
