Bobby Deol (born Vijay Singh Deol) is an Indian actor and son of Bollywood icon Dharmendra and younger brother of Sonny Doel, born on January 27, 1967. Bobby made a brief appearance in the film ‘Dharam Veer’ as a child but made his adult debut in the successful ‘Barsaat’ (1995), winning a Filmfare Best Debut Award. Over the last two-half decades, Bobby has made approximately forty flicks. Some of the best are: ”Gupt: The Hidden Truth’ (1997), ‘Humraaz’ (2002), ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo’ (2003), ‘Jurm’ (2005), ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’ (2005), ‘Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai’ (2006), ‘Apne’ (2007), ‘Dostana’ (2008), and ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011) ‘YamlaPagla Deewana 2’ (2013), and ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ (2018), with his father and brother, ‘Race 3’ (2018), with Salman Khan, and ‘Housefull 4’ (2019). In 2020, Bobby appeared as a reluctant Dean of the Police Academy in Netflix’s ‘Class of ‘83’, and ‘Aashram’, MX Original Series, as a Baba conman. Bobby also owns a successful Mumbai restaurant.
